help our garden grow!
UpCycle is presenting a garden of flowers made out of recycled and reusable materials. We are calling all artists, crafters, children, and families to help our garden grow! As we are all processing and experiencing the pandemic in different ways, UpCycle hopes to bring some light into your day as you walk by the art installation.
There a few ways to participate:
1. Donate to UpCycle to receive materials. There are different ranges that can provide you the materials you need to complete a flower! Check out the donation options HERE!
- OR -
2. Create your flower out of recycle/reusable materials that you can find at home! (Please note the flowers will be outside for a month, choose materials that can uphold the heat, rain, wind, and other weather scenarios.)
UpCycle will have flower pots arranged on the front porch of the Oswald Durant Arts Center where you can install your art piece. We are looking for a vary of sizes and colors of flowers.
