UpCycle's annual memberships help educators and educational sites to gather reuse materials and supplies for creative experiences.

Membership Eligibility
The following individuals and organizations may apply for membership:
Membership Fees
Individual teacher memberships are $75.
School and nonprofit membership fees are based on the number of students enrolled or the number of unique individuals served during the previous year. See chart below for fees.
Benefits
Members receive UpCycle membership card(s), based on membership level (see below), for one year of free access to UpCycle's "by the basket" merchandise*. Members can fill baskets with materials for projects whenever they shop. (Note that items with prices are not included in membership).
Membership cards must be presented when making a purchase.
Memberships are reviewed annually and the number of enrolled students or individuals served will be verified at the time of renewal.
* We kindly ask that members make their purchases with the community in mind, as UpCycle's goal is to ensure that materials remain available for everyone. We appreciate your cooperation in in helping us share these resources equitably.
Application process
Individual teachers must provide proof of employment, e.g., a current teacher or employee ID card, a recent pay stub, or an email from the school or organization verifying employment.
Once received, UpCycle will review the form and respond within two weeks. Applicant will be notified by email if the membership is approved and an invoice will be sent with appropriate fee.
Membership cards are available after payment is received.
The following individuals and organizations may apply for membership:

- Public and private schools and preschools
- Daycare centers
- Homeschool cooperatives
- Nonprofits engaged in educational and/or art-making activities
